Christine van der Kieft, Principal
I grew up in New Canaan, Connecticut, and graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in International Studies. After studying and working abroad and developing a love of travel and all things outdoors, I moved to Vail and founded a high-end event planning company. When I returned to Boston, I segued into corporate event planning, later joining a luxury diamond company, where once again, details and drive were key.
After meeting my husband and having our two girls, we made the move to Hingham. My passion for interior design, keen attention to detail, love of all things fabulous, and an inspiration to keep things bold, fresh, and functional led me to launch van der Kieft Designs.
I love what I do for so many reasons. I'm constantly inspired by the gorgeous fabrics, wallpapers, furniture, and art we work with to literally transform spaces. I have a self-admitted obsession with color. I have amazing clients.
